The Italian summer supper: toast the bread, rub garlic over it, tomatoes on top. It gets good from ripe tomatoes and good oil, not from effort.
Ingredients
Forservings
- 120 gwhite bread (ciabatta or baguette) (4 slices)
- 250 gTomatoes, ripe
- 15 gOlive oil (1 tbsp)
- 5 gBalsamic vinegar (1 tsp)
- Garlic, basil, salt, pepper
How to make it
- Dice the tomatoes and mix with the oil, balsamic, basil, salt and pepper, leave for ten minutes.
- Toast the bread in the oven or a pan and rub it with half a garlic clove.
- Spoon the tomatoes onto the bread just before eating.
One tip
The tomatoes go on at the table, otherwise the bread goes soggy.
