The soup for days when nobody wants to switch on the hob. Everything raw into the blender, an hour in the fridge, done. The riper the tomatoes, the better.

- 600 gTomatoes, ripe
- 150 gCucumber
- 100 gPeppers
- 40 gOnion
- 20 gOlive oil (2 tbsp)
- 15 gVinegar (1 tbsp)
- 30 gCroutons
- Garlic, cumin, salt
How to make it
- Roughly chop the tomatoes, cucumber, pepper, onion and garlic and blend them fine.
- Add the oil, vinegar, cumin and salt, blend again, and pass it through a sieve if you like.
- Chill for at least an hour, serve with croutons and a few drops of oil.
One tip
Blending a piece of stale white bread with it makes the soup silkier, which is how it is done in Andalusia.
