The fish dish for everyone who has never cooked fish: the cod bakes under lemon slices, the potatoes boil alongside. No turning, no burning.

Ingredients

Forserving
  • 200 gCod fillet
  • 250 gPotatoes
  • 15 gButter
  • 30 gLemon (½ piece)
  • Parsley, salt, pepper

How to make it

  1. Peel the potatoes and boil them in salted water for 20 minutes.
  2. Oven to 180 degrees. Salt and pepper the fish, lay it in a dish, flecks of butter and lemon slices on top.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes, until the flesh is white and opaque.
  4. Serve with the potatoes and parsley, spooning the buttery juices from the dish over the top.

One tip

The fish is done when it flakes with a fork. Better a minute early than a minute late.
