Pasta, tomatoes, onion, garlic and stock together in one pan, cooked until the liquid is gone. The starch from the pasta becomes the sauce, and there is one pot less to wash.
Ingredients
Forserving
- 90 gPenne, dry weight
- 200 gCherry tomatoes
- 30 gOnion
- 350 mlVegetable stock
- 15 gOlive oil (1.5 tbsp)
- 20 gParmesan, grated
- Garlic, basil, salt, pepper, chilli
How to make it
- Pasta, halved tomatoes, onion rings, sliced garlic, oil and chilli into a large pan.
- Pour in the stock, bring to the boil, then cook over medium heat for twelve minutes, turning often, until the pasta is done and barely any liquid is left.
- Salt, pepper, basil and Parmesan over the top.
One tip
The pan has to be wide so the pasta lies flat. In a pot it sticks together.
