The pasta cooks straight in the tomato sauce and takes it up. The prawns join for the last three minutes so they stay tender.
Ingredients
Forserving
- 90 gSpaghetti, dry weight
- 150 gPrawns, peeled
- 200 gTinned tomatoes
- 250 mlVegetable stock
- 15 gOlive oil (1.5 tbsp)
- Garlic, chilli, parsley, salt, pepper, lemon
How to make it
- Soften the garlic and chilli in the oil, add the tomatoes and stock, bring to the boil.
- Add the pasta and cook over medium heat for ten minutes, turning often.
- Add the prawns for three minutes, until they are pink and the sauce is thick.

One tip
If the sauce thickens before the pasta is done, add a splash of water. Too thin: lid off and one minute more.
