Popcorn is whole grain and huge in volume: a big bowl from a handful of kernels. In a pot with a teaspoon of oil it is the lightest snack for a film.
Ingredients
Forserving
- 30 gPopcorn kernels (2 tbsp)
- 5 gCanola oil (1 tsp)
- Salt
How to make it
- Oil into a large pot, three kernels in, lid on, medium heat.
- Once those three have popped, the rest of the corn goes in, lid on, shake the pot now and then.
- Off the heat as soon as more than two seconds pass between pops. Salt it.
One tip
The three test kernels tell you when the oil is hot enough. Without them half the corn burns before the rest pops.
