The usual pasta salad drowns in mayonnaise. This one gets by on a spoonful of oil and still carries over 50 grams of protein.
Ingredients
Forserving
- 70 gPasta, dry weight
- 150 gTinned tuna, drained
- 100 gTinned sweetcorn, drained
- 150 gTomatoes
- 30 gRed onion
- 10 gOlive oil (1 tbsp)
- Salt, pepper, vinegar
- 60 gIceberg lettuce
How to make it
- Cook the pasta as it says on the packet, drain and rinse it cold.
- Chop the tomatoes and onion.
- Mix everything with the tuna and sweetcorn.
- Season with oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.
- Fold in the shredded iceberg lettuce.
One tip
Buy tuna in brine, not in oil. That saves around a hundred calories, and in a salad you will not taste the difference.
