Oats in the blender become flour, and with egg and apple purée that makes a batter for small, dense pancakes. The apple on top replaces the syrup.

Ingredients

  • 60 gRolled oats
  • 100 gEggs (2 piece)
  • 80 gApple sauce, unsweetened
  • 150 gApple (1 piece)
  • 5 gButter (1 tsp)
  • 3 gBaking powder (½ tsp)
  • Cinnamon, pinch of salt

How to make it

  1. Blend the oats fine and stir them with the eggs, apple purée, baking powder, cinnamon and salt into a batter.
  2. Dice the apple, half into the batter, the other half stewed in the butter with cinnamon for five minutes.
  3. Cook small pancakes in a non-stick pan for two minutes a side and stack them with the apple.

One tip

The batter is thicker than a wheat one. Small portions, medium heat.
