Bulgogi means fire meat: paper-thin slices of beef in soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic and grated pear, which tenderises the meat. Two minutes in a hot pan.

How to make it
- Marinate the meat in the soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, pear, garlic and pepper for thirty minutes.
- Cook the rice. Cut the carrot and cucumber into fine strips.
- Fry the meat in a very hot pan in two batches, two minutes each.
- Rice into bowls, meat, vegetables and kimchi on top, sesame and spring onion over it.
One tip
Slice the meat half frozen and the pieces come out thin enough.
