No flour, no butter: the peanut butter holds the cookies together and the oats give the bite. Twelve minutes in the oven and they are firm outside and still soft inside.

Ingredients

Forbiscuits
  • 150 gPeanut butter
  • 150 gRolled oats
  • 60 gSugar
  • 50 gEgg (1 piece)
  • 60 gDark chocolate, chopped
  • 3 gBaking powder (½ tsp)
  • Vanilla, pinch of salt

How to make it

  1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Stir the peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla together.
  2. Fold in the oats, baking powder, salt and chocolate.
  3. Shape twelve balls, press them flat on the tray, bake for twelve minutes, cool on the tray.

One tip

They are still soft when warm and set as they cool. Do not bake them again.
