Rice, broccoli, tofu, soy sauce. It does not get simpler, and nothing is missing.
Ingredients
Forserving
- 150 gTofu, firm
- 70 gRice, dry weight
- 150 gBroccoli
- 15 gSoy sauce (1 tbsp)
- 10 gSesame oil (2 tsp)
- Sesame seeds, spring onion, chilli
How to make it
- Cook the rice. Add the broccoli to the rice water for the last four minutes, or cook it separately.
- Pat the tofu dry, cut it into cubes and fry it brown all over in the sesame oil over high heat.
- Soy sauce over the tofu, toss for a minute until it clings.
- Rice into the bowl, broccoli and tofu on top, sesame and spring onion over it.
One tip
Soy sauce only goes in at the end. Earlier it burns, and the tofu never crisps.
