Teriyaki is soy sauce, honey and ginger, reduced until it shines. Rice and broccoli alongside, and tomorrow’s box fills itself.

Ingredients

Forserving
  • 150 gChicken breast
  • 70 gRice, dry weight
  • 150 gBroccoli
  • 20 gSoy sauce (1.5 tbsp)
  • 10 gHoney (2 tsp)
  • 5 gSesame oil (1 tsp)
  • Ginger, garlic, sesame seeds

How to make it

  1. Cook the rice, adding the broccoli to the water for the last four minutes.
  2. Cut the chicken into strips and fry it in the sesame oil over high heat for five minutes.
  3. Add the soy sauce, honey, grated ginger and garlic and reduce for two minutes until the sauce clings to the meat.
  4. Serve with the rice and broccoli, sesame over the top.

One tip

The sauce thickens in seconds. Wait too long and you have caramel in the pan.
