Tuna salad between two slices of toast with cheese, fried in a pan. A diner classic that stands up in fifteen minutes and has more protein than most lunches.

Ingredients

  • 80 gWholemeal toast (2 slices)
  • 120 gTuna, tinned, drained (1 tin)
  • 20 gMayonnaise (1 tbsp)
  • 30 gCelery
  • 20 gRed onion
  • 50 gCheddar (2 slices)
  • 60 gTomato
  • 10 gButter
  • Lemon, pepper

How to make it

  1. Mix the tuna with the mayonnaise, finely diced celery and onion, lemon and pepper.
  2. Spread it on one slice, lay the tomato slices and Cheddar on top, close it.
  3. Butter the outside and fry for three minutes a side until the cheese melts.

One tip

Lid on the pan and the cheese melts before the bread goes too dark.
