Chicken breast goes dry if you fry it too long. The honey and soy glaze helps you stop in time: as soon as it clings, the meat is done.
Ingredients
Forserving
- 180 gChicken breast
- 20 gSoy sauce (1.5 tbsp)
- 10 gHoney (2 tsp)
- 10 gSesame oil (2 tsp)
- Garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, spring onion
- 75 gRice, raw
- 40 gPeas, frozen
How to make it
- Cut the chicken breast in half horizontally so you have two thin pieces.
- Fry them in the sesame oil for three to four minutes a side.
- Add the soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger and toss for a minute until the sauce clings to the meat.
- Slice it, then sesame and spring onion over the top. Rice or salad goes well with it.
- Cook the rice, adding the peas for the last three minutes. Chicken on top.
One tip
Halving it is the trick. A thick breast is dry outside before it is cooked inside.
