Chicken breast goes dry if you fry it too long. The honey and soy glaze helps you stop in time: as soon as it clings, the meat is done.

Ingredients

Forserving
  • 180 gChicken breast
  • 20 gSoy sauce (1.5 tbsp)
  • 10 gHoney (2 tsp)
  • 10 gSesame oil (2 tsp)
  • Garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, spring onion
  • 75 gRice, raw
  • 40 gPeas, frozen

How to make it

  1. Cut the chicken breast in half horizontally so you have two thin pieces.
  2. Fry them in the sesame oil for three to four minutes a side.
  3. Add the soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger and toss for a minute until the sauce clings to the meat.
  4. Slice it, then sesame and spring onion over the top. Rice or salad goes well with it.
  5. Cook the rice, adding the peas for the last three minutes. Chicken on top.

One tip

Halving it is the trick. A thick breast is dry outside before it is cooked inside.
