The Cobb salad was invented in Hollywood out of leftovers and laid out in rows so you can see what is in it. It is a whole dinner on one plate.

- 200 gChicken breast
- 100 gEggs (2 piece)
- 30 gStreaky bacon (2 slices)
- 100 gAvocado (1 piece)
- 150 gTomatoes
- 40 gBlue cheese
- 30 gRed onion
- 10 gOlive oil (1 tbsp)
- 10 gVinegar (2 tsp)
- Mustard, salt, pepper
How to make it
- Hard-boil the eggs for ten minutes. Fry the bacon crisp. Fry the chicken in the bacon fat for five minutes a side and cut it into strips.
- Shredded salad onto two plates, then in rows: chicken, quartered egg, crumbled bacon, avocado, tomato, cheese, onion.
- Whisk the oil, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper and drizzle it over.
One tip
The rows are tradition. Mixed it tastes the same.
