An omelette needs nothing but eggs and a pan that does not stick. The cheese and tomato go in at the last minute, so the cheese melts and the tomato does not water it.

Ingredients

Forserving
  • 150 gEggs (3 piece)
  • 80 gTomatoes
  • 30 gRed onion
  • 30 gGouda, grated
  • 5 gButter
  • 15 gWalnuts
  • Salt, pepper, parsley

How to make it

  1. Beat the eggs with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt the butter in the pan, pour in the eggs, let them set over medium heat, loosening the edge with a spatula.
  3. Put the tomato, onion and cheese on one half, fold it over, wait a minute. Walnuts and parsley alongside.

One tip

Keep the heat medium. An omelette should be blond, not brown.
